Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Video

Frontage Road Studios was fortunate to work with our longtime client Patagonia on a video project that addressed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the outdoor industry – both internally and throughout the industry as a whole.

We camped and filmed for three days in the iconic Yosemite National Park with Patagonia leadership, management and staff as well as invited leaders in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion movement.

Here’s a quick teaser video of the project:

One of our favorite shoots on this project was covering an amazing fireside chat with longtime Yosemite National Park Ranger and author Shelton Johnson.  It was easy to see why Johnson was prominently featured in Ken Burn’s documentary miniseries The National Parks: America’s Best Idea.  His storytelling ability mixed with his deep understanding of the need for inclusion in the outdoors for minorities and people of color, was a high point of this important gathering.
